I've got something lovely to share with you this week. I have seen some of the possible photos that could be used for the cover of The Railway Girls book 6, A Christmas Miracle for the Railway Girls. It's so exciting to see them - and also to be asked my opinion! I appreciate that every single time it happens and I never take it for granted.
There's one particular image that my editor and I both love of one of the girls and it looks pretty certain that this one will be used. I wish I could tell you more, but you'll understand why I can't at this stage. I'm now looking forward more than ever to seeing the full cover and being able to share it with you.
The book covers the period from June 1942 to December 1942 and one of the first things I did was divide up the plot over the months. Well, I've now got as far as October in writing the story, so it's coming along nicely.
I was asked earlier this week when my next pblication day is and I said, "April," because this is when Railway 5, Hope for the Railway Girls, comes out, but then I realised I actually have a publication day sooner than that. On February 3rd, Corvus will publish a 3-in-1 set of The Surplus Girls books on Kindle and Kobo.

The total page count is over 1000 pages. If you were thinking of treating yourself to the three books, this is s good way to do it. I have checked the prices of individual e-books and it is cheaper to buy the 3-volume set.
