It's That Wonderful Bookpost Time Again

Posted on 7th April, 2023

Okay, I know I have blogged about this before - but as I have said over and over, this is something that never stops being wonderful and exciting.

Yes, I'm talking about the day that the box of author copies arrives. Here it is:

Another highlight from this week:

It's always a joy to see one of my audiobooks featured in the new catalogue from The Reading House. Here is Courage with its audio cover:

And a dip into the past:

During this week back in 2019, the audio version of one of my Susanna Bavin sagas, The Sewing Room Girl, was published....

....and I was busy writing The Railway Girls. I had started writing it at the end of January and by the end of this week, my word count had reached 53,939.

Back then, I wasn't allowed to tell anyone what I was doing. It wasn't until July 2021, three months after the publication of book 3, The Railway Girls in Love, that I was finally allowed to tell the world that Susanna/Polly also wrote as Maisie Thomas!
