Three Highlights: August 2023

Posted on 1st September, 2023

It's been a busy month so I've been a bit spoilt for choice when selecting just three happenings from August for this blog.

Naturally I have to include my stay at Gladstone's Library. I have been there lots of times before, both for day visits and to stay overnight, but this was the first time I'd ever stayed there with friends.

Left to right: Cass Grafton, Kirsten Hesketh (who also writes as Poppy Cooper and Kirsty Dougal) and your truly.

My second choice has got to be finishing Springtime with the Railway Girls, book 9 in the Railway Girls series, written as Maisie Thomas, and sending it to my editor. The cover has also been released. Isn't it gorgeous?

You can pre-order it here.

Last of all - this is one that has come as a big surprise to me. It's to do with the number of visitors I'm getting on my Welcome page. Historically, up to 200 people per week visit my blog (thank you!) and 40-50 per week go to the Welcome page. But recently the number of you who have visited the Welcome page has jumped right up and you're now giving the blog page some serious competition!

I don't know why this has happened, but I'm thrilled about it - so I'm ending this August round-up with a huge thank you to all of you for your continued support.

See you here next week xxx
